Middle School

Students are at the center of the teaching and learning process. Through individual and collaborative work, they actively construct and apply knowledge, skills, and attitudes that prepare them to succeed in life.

We encourage students to engage, interact, and participate through CAR Methodologies, which are:

Cooperative: Students work together toward shared goals, maximizing both their own learning and that of their peers.

Active: Students take an active role in the learning process, becoming the protagonists of their own education.

Reflective: Students deepen their understanding, generate new ideas, and develop visible critical thinking skills.

Students participate in our 1 by 1 iPad Program beginning in 6th grade. Through Apple Education technology, students have access to powerful tools that inspire creativity, collaboration, innovation, and limitless possibilities for learning.

We seek to form students in faith and love for God, inspiring them to live with strong values and virtues that will guide them to become authentic Christian leaders. At the same time, we partner with families in their mission of educating their children according to Christian values and faith.

 In Middle School, the Technology Department empowers students to develop essential 21st-century skills through innovative projects, real-world challenges, and methodologies such as Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Design Thinking.

In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in STEAM CODED Orlando, an international experience focused on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics through immersive learning opportunities at venues such as Universal Orlando Resort, Walt Disney World, and Kennedy Space Center.

To further enhance their learning, we offer an extracurricular Robotics Academy where students develop advanced projects and prepare for specialized competitions.

In Middle School, our curriculum provides a bilingual education aligned with international standards and the educational framework of the Semper Altius School Network.

Students develop English as both an academic and communication tool, strengthening skills such as:

By the end of Middle School, students achieve a B2 level of English according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), preparing them to meet the challenges of a globalized world and actively participate in international initiatives that positively impact society.

Students also expand their academic vocabulary through specialized terminology in science-related subjects taught entirely in English, including:

In addition, students have the opportunity to earn Cambridge certifications that validate their language proficiency and academic readiness.

Beginning in 6th grade, students are introduced to a third language: French. Classes are taught by native-speaking teachers, providing students with an authentic and immersive language-learning experience.

Middle School is a key stage marked by significant physical, emotional, social, and academic changes. Our Psychoeducational Department provides comprehensive support to students as they develop their identity, autonomy, and emotional management skills, fostering a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
